Mr. Sheehan has more than 40 years of management and operational experience in military and civil aviation. He has acted as a consultant in civil aviation operational, management, and planning issues for more than 17 years, working with airlines, aviation repair stations, aircraft charter operators and corporate flight departments. Organizational safety and performance reviews, aircraft selection analyses, personnel staffing studies, and long-range planning tasks have become his specialties.
Mr. Sheehan has participated in a number of Federal Aviation Administration and International Civil Aviation Organization projects that have included regulatory support and analysis, devising new international operational standards and project management.
He has produced and conducted a number of management and technical seminars for the National Business Aviation Association. He is a regular contributor to aviation periodicals, appearing in Aviation News International, Professional Pilot and NBAA Business Aviation Journals. In 2003, McGraw-Hill published his book, Business and Corporate Management, used as a primary reference for the NBAA professional aviation manager certification program.
