Ms. Hunt’s experience includes identifying user requirements for trend analysis, extracting and interpolating data to identify trends within the National Airspace System (NAS), and presenting data to various government and industry personnel concerning specific safety issues.  Ms. Hunt is proficient in working with advanced analysis tools such as text/data mining, data visualization, and pattern recognition technologies.

Ms. Hunt has over 12 years of experience in the aviation industry, 10 of which are with the Aviation Safety Information and Analysis Sharing (ASIAS) program (formerly the National Aviation Safety Data Analysis Center (NASDAC)).

She also supported the Global Aviation Information Network (GAIN) and served as the ASIAS liaison for GAIN.  In addition, Ms. Hunt has experience preparing technical reports and manuals for a Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) Part 121 operator and a Part 141 school.

Ms. Hunt received a Letter of Recognition and Certificate of Appreciation for her work on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Flight Plan.  She supported the NAS Programming and Financial Management Division in researching aviation safety data to justify budget submissions to the FAA Flight Plan for 2003–2008.

As a Senior Aviation Safety Analyst at PAI, she conducts evaluations of prospective analytical tools in support of the ASIAS program.
